Welcome to the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia

An initiative of Dairy Australia and Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE, the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia (NCDEA) operates with a national alliance of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to deliver dairy farming training nationally. The NCDEA delivers advanced manufacturing focused training through Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE in Victoria.

Education and training delivered by the NCDEA responds to industry and student learning needs to bring dairy education and training under one umbrella.

The NCDEA provides strong leadership in industry education and sets new levels of excellence in agricultural education and training to develop the capability of the Australian agricultural industry via the development and standardisation of quality learning systems where competencies, certificates, diplomas and degrees will be recognised by the industry locally, nationally and internationally.

With a centre dedicated specifically to dairy Vocational Education and Training (VET), the NCDEA provides the platform for the dairy industry to communicate its specific training needs, industry issues and vision for the future through an advisory group structure in each area. The NCDEA is highly responsive in meeting these needs, offering innovative solutions to industry training issues.

The NCDEA is also the hub in driving the future of dairy education in hosting future developments, providing new thinking and developing the capability of the Australian dairy workforce.

The NCDEA delivers nationally accredited courses in:

Agriculture (specialising in Dairy Production)
Food Technology (Dairy)
Food Processing

The NCDEA delivers short courses and customised programs for dairy and processing organisations, individual farmers and people in the dairy service industry.
